New York Fashion Week always brings out the crazies--even at a star-studded event, I mean--even the most dedicated shoppers couldn't be detoured from their mission--to purchase hot fashion despite all the celebrity hoopla. This past Friday in New York City was a city-wide event called Fashion's Night Out and it seemed like every venue in NYC was participating in some way--including Rag & Bone who was sponsoring a charity even in conjuction with Revlon and their spokesperson, Halle Berry.
As every breathing person inside Rag & Bone in Soho was fixated on Hally Berry's grand entrance this past Friday, all done in support the Jenesse Center--one woman was frustrated with the roping off of the left back part of the store because it blocked the entrance to a sexy black leather jacket she wanted to try on. And in the midst of the event, she finally flagged down a store employee who cut through the media barricade to retrieve it for her to try on.
In the end, Halle Berry accomplished her mission--to raise funds for her charity which focuses on helping end domestic violence--but she wasn't the only one who achieved her evening's goal; one shopper did stimulate and nourish her true inner-fashionista because in the end--isn't that what NYFW is all about?
